If you fancy a game of tennis but don’t want to pay the fancy prices some clubs charge, then you should take a good look at the St Budeaux Tennis Club.
They say it’s the best value for money club in Plymouth and judging by the adult membership fees of not much more than £1 per week it’s hard to dispute their claim.

The club situated in Verna Road in St Budeaux is looking for new members right now. It doesn’t matter if you have never served a ball before in your life, as they can provide coaching if required. They even have a court set aside for non-members to play for a small hourly fee.

If you become a member you are given various privileges including being able to play at anytime on their floodlit all-weather tennis courts. This really does allow you to get best value from your membership fee. For the price of a pint of beer a week, a family of four could join and have access to the club 365 days a year - ideal for getting the kids off the x-box.

The St Budeaux Tennis Club members play in Plymouth & District Tennis League and would especially like more ladies to join the club as the number of ladies teams needs building up.
