Christmas Shopping in Plymouth

Once again Christmas is just around the corner and before the kids are back to school from their summer holidays then the shops start pushing Christmas decorations and cards at every opportunity.

Personally, I prefer to do my Christmas shopping a bit late, usually after 4pm on Christmas Eve but for those panic buyers out there who want to start buying their presents now, you may get a few ideas here.

The obvious place to go is Plymouth city centre and Drake Circus but you could also think about getting some bargains on our classified adverts whether its clothes, shoes or accessories or perhaps some electronics like an MP3 or DVD recorder. It could be a CD or something to with the garden. It’s all there and at bargain prices for your Christmas presents. Don’t forget to get something for Fido the dog and Felix the cat in our pet section.

Activity vouchers are always a good idea, like kart-racing in Plymouth, power-boating on Plymouth Sound or paint-balling in Plymouth. Perhaps a Balloon Ride over Devon or a trial Flying Lesson over Land’s End could be the answer.

What about a ticket to see a show at the Theatre Royal or Plymouth Pavilions. There’s plenty to choose from on our pages of theatre, music, and comedy events.

Christmas is a time of eating lots but if you think the person you are buying for could still be hungry, then you could arrange a meal for two at one of the top Plymouth restaurants or what about some spa treatment in one of the hotels in Plymouth.
